Alliance for Choice in collaboration with feminist artist, Nichola Irvine invite you to view three beautiful short films, “Who gets to choose?”.
With voiceovers from the indubitable Gemma Fitzner-Hutton and the creative input from our amazing activists, our shorts blur the binaries to show that when it comes to abortion, we are more than the statistics and stereotypes that patriarchy imagines us to be. The films highlight how gender and other identity norms create barriers to abortion access, and how education and conversation can unravel these obstacles to care. Although we’ve triumphed when it comes to abortion decriminalisation, we aren't there yet when it comes to real access which is safe, and free of stigma or barriers.
